Quality Built
Into Every
Step

Our ISO 9001 implementation means quality is not an afterthought — it's embedded in how we plan, produce, inspect, and ship every order.

Step-by-Step Process

Each stage has defined input requirements, process parameters, and output inspection criteria.

01
Incoming Material QC (IQC)
Steel coils and purchased components are inspected on receipt. SPCC/SGCC material is verified against mill certificates for grade, thickness, and surface quality before being entered into the ASR-48M automated storage tower.
IQC Mill Certificate Thickness Check ASR-48M Storage
02
Cutting & Punching
Flat blanks are cut on the AMADA EML-3510NT combo machine. First-article inspection confirms part dimensions, hole positions, and edge quality against the approved drawing. Nesting is optimized to minimize material waste.
First Article Dimension Check Edge Quality
03
CNC Bending
Parts are formed on the AMADA FMB-3613NT press brake. Bend angles are verified with a digital angle gauge. Complex profiles are confirmed against a physical sample approved by the customer prior to production.
IPQC Angle Verification Sample Approval
04
Welding & Fastening
MIG/TIG welding, spot welding, and PEM insertion are performed by dedicated operators. Weld quality is visually inspected per joint. PEM installation force is set by tooling to meet pull-out and push-out specifications.
Visual Inspection PEM Verification Weld Appearance
05
Surface Pre-treatment (5-Tank)
Parts pass through the 5-tank chemical pre-treatment line: alkaline degreasing, water rinse, iron phosphating, water rinse, and passivation. Tank chemistry and temperature are monitored. Pre-treated parts are dried before coating.
5-Tank Line Phosphating Chemistry Control
06
Powder Coating
Electrostatic powder application with Wagner equipment followed by curing oven at the correct temperature/time profile. Film thickness (DFT) is measured with a calibrated gauge. Adhesion is tested with the ISO 2409 cross-cut method per batch.
DFT Measurement ISO 2409 Cure Verification
07
Outgoing Inspection & OQC
Final inspection against the customer's drawing and specifications. Dimension check, surface finish, coating color, and packaging requirements are confirmed. An OQC checklist is completed for every production lot before release.
OQC Final Dimension Coating Check Packaging
08
Packaging & Shipment
Parts are packed per customer specification — foam interleaving, labeling, carton packing, or custom crating. Shipment documentation includes packing list, batch records, and QC summary.

How We Verify Coating Quality

Cross-Cut Adhesion Test
ISO 2409 / ASTM D3359 cross-cut test performed with a calibrated multi-blade cutter. Rated 0–5 (ISO) or 0A–5A (ASTM). We target Grade 0 (ISO) = no delamination.
ISO 2409
Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
Calibrated electromagnetic gauge measures coating thickness in microns on each part. Typical target: 60–120 µm. Results recorded per batch with calibration traceability.
60–120 µm
Visual Surface Inspection
100% visual inspection for orange peel, pinholes, sags, color uniformity, and coverage on edges and recesses. Non-conforming parts are stripped and recoated.
100% Visual

When Issues Occur

No production system is perfect. What matters is how problems are identified, contained, and prevented from recurring.

01
Root Cause Analysis
When a non-conformance is detected, we stop, isolate the affected lot, and trace the failure back to its process source — material, tooling, operator, or parameter drift.
02
Corrective Actions
Documented 8D-style corrective actions are implemented and verified. Affected parts are quarantined, reworked, or scrapped and replaced — not shipped.
03
Process Improvement
Root causes and corrective actions are recorded in our quality management system. Repeat occurrence triggers a formal process parameter update and retraining.
